Her Life in Music

Born and raised in Bulgaria, soprano Mariana Zvetkova began her career singing the lead roles in Il Trovatore, Aida, and Tannhäuser. Her international career has taken her to La Scala, Munich State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Tokyo National Theater, Lyon National Orchestra, Radio France, Semper Oper in Dresden, and Teatro Minicipal in Rio de Janeiro among others. She has worked alongside acclaimed conductors and stage directors such as Giuseppe Sinopoli, Willie Anthony Waters, Stefan Soltez, Ivan Torcz, Imre Pallo, Emil Tabakov, Eugenie Svetlanov, Nayden Todorov, Johanes Schaaf, Plamen Kartaloff, Hugo de Ana, Luca Ronconi, Phillip Arlaud, Paul Curran, Peter Konvichni, Vera Nemirova.
